when life takes you through the longer route

One of my favourite things is following stories of people climbing mountains!

In a Q&A session, a woman who had just climbed a mountain shared why her guides chose the longest route to the peak instead of a shorter one.

She explained that the longest route offers the most stunning views of that particular mountain and lets climbers see more geological wonders. Also, despite being longer, this route has a higher success rate due to better acclimatization to altitude, reducing the risk of altitude sickness that could force climbers to turn back.

Like this story, sometimes life leads us down longer paths because of the experiences we need to have and the lessons we have to learn.

So, if you feel like you are on a longer route right now, face the twists and turns with fortitude, take in the goodness you find along the way, and have faith in the breathtaking view that awaits you at the summit.
