I was going for a hair appointment on a cold morning, and I was desperate to buy a cup of coffee before I got there.
I got on the bus, hoping to see a coffee shop along the way so I could stop, get it, and then get on the next bus to continue my journey. While busy looking out for a coffee shop, I missed my stop!
Anyway, a few minutes later, we got to the next bus stop after the one I missed, and lo and behold, it was right in front of a coffee shop! I got what I wanted and took a walk back to my stop.
If I had not missed my stop, I wouldn’t have known what I had been looking for, for the past 30 minutes, was just two more minutes away!
